I agree with Lan. Let's face it, if there weren't so many tourist (and the building that goes along with that) there wouldn't be as many cars.
I went to San Pedro for the first time in Aug. and I walked most of the time I was there (to Banana Beach and back). I didn't feel like I was going to get run over or that there were too many vehicles on the road. I road a bike one day for 3-5 hours with stops (to the South and all the way to Captain Morgans). Again, I didn't feel like things were out of hand. Certainly I haven't been travelling to San Pedro for many years and have not been able to see the changes, but I have read about them. It all sounds familiar to me and I can recall reading about other places that this has happened (all over America). In a nutshell it's called PROGRESS. I wouldn't want anyone to tell me that I had to go back to the way things were 10 or 20 years ago so I wouldn't impose that on anyone else. Just my opinion. :rolleyes:
