Hey Jeff, We're heading down on June 28th and staying till July 8th. I guess it's going to be hot as hell, but as long as the fish are biting, and we have that beautiful water to cool off in who cares!
The fishing is awesome in midsummer in San Pedro ! The winds are calm and you don't have all the big waves or swells. The bones come into the flats so you get some oppurtunities to hook into some of the most exciting sport fish. If the heat gets to you, then try night fishing off a pier with a Carolina rig using conch, or sardine. It is pretty cool to see the moon and the stars and with a soothing sea breeze on your face while reeling up fish. Best-wishes, Mel....Tomorrow we are goimg flyfishing for white bass down in the ozarks.
