I would like information about Dwayne Castillo who works at Tropic Air, his birthday was yesterday and I need to know if he is ok or needs some assistance.

if he works at Tropic Air in San Pedro, trust me, he's fine and probably back at work. I am calling my friend David Marin from Tropic in an hour or so and I will make sure I ask about him for you.

The phones at both Tropic Air Municipal Airstrip and International Airport are both working. I will make sure I pass on the message to David for you.

Listen, I know you're busy with(other) important issues, but if you speak to someone in-the-know at the strip, ask whether there was damage to the airstrip itself, and what length of it is presently usable...I need to know how large a plane is capable of landing there.

ok, Shantel, I spoke to David & relayed the message. He said that Dwayne is ok and is busy between working at Tropic Air & helping the rest of the folks on the island.

Concerning the Airstrip, it has been fully operating since Oct 3, Tuesday and can be used for landing of aircrafts as big as a 30 passenger airline.

Atlantic Air from Guatemala has recently made several trips on the airstrip bringing in cargo & supplies for the island.
