My son and I are coming down in June from Sevierville Tn. We would be interested in hooking up with people with experience in the nuances of Belize. We plan to take a snorkel , fishing and Mayan ruin trip and would be interested in anyone wanting to share the cost. We have narrowed our choices in places to stay to Bannana Beach and Mata Rocks. We are trying to decide whether to stay on AC the whole time or move around. Any suggestions would be welcome.

How old is your son? Sent you an email you directly, but now after rereading your post, have a few more ideas. Tennessee is one of my favorite spots. It was either the sea of Belize, the Blue Mountains of Jamaica, or the Smokies, guess which one won!!!!!! Keep in contact.
