You know I always share with my friends. Even if my choices sometimes make them ill.

Seems like bringing liquor to SP would be akin to bringing saltwater, wind and sunshine. As the old saying goes "like hauling coal to Newcastle."

Hi Judie Brock-
In response to your question about the credit card situation, things were back up and running fine. The first week (April 15-24) it wasn't good, but the second week (April 24-May 1)it was business as usual.
It didn't really impact us at all, as we relied on cash and traveller's cheques. There were a few folks who were in a bind, but most hotels and tour operators did what they could to accommodate. Even with the power and water going off from time to time, we just went with the flow...time doesn't matter when you're on holiday!

Larry...I agree, but after spending $800/pp on airfare, gotta save in other ways and spend it on playing!

Frannie...thanks for the update. 12 more days!

Actually, spending an extra $10 on booze seems more pathetic than saving $10 on same. I guess pathos is in the eye of the drunk.

I think you are better suited to the all inclusive places situated in Cancun
