Hi, I don't know a thing about Hotel del Rio but have used Reef Adventures with Capt. Ron and had a great time. Very accomodating and would use again. Will check out the hotel when there in August and try to get back to you.

Thanks. From what I can tell about the hotel it's kinda low key on the beach and that's what were looking for.

Except for maybe Ramon's and Banana beach where they are cramed in like sardines, every where else is low key. Never heard of Hotel Del Rio, are you sure it is on the Beach? Where ever it is enjoy.

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain.

Hotel Del Rio is definitely on the beach. Nothing fancy, but I've not read anything bad about it. I like the location, close to the center of town, but more residential.

I dunno, Scubaldy. What did it say?

A fish and a bird can fall in love, but where will they build their nest?

Hotel Del Rio is located North of town on the beach, I believe it's the last place to stay before you hit the cut, the play ground is right next to it and the Seven Seas Hotel is on the south side of it. Never stayed there but walked by it on my way to Papi's and The Hammock House.
I did stop in and looked, nothing fancy, no air, but very inexpenience.
The Tides Beach Resort is next to Seven Seas, there is a good Dive shop there (Patojo's)
Great location, right behind Papi's and stumbling distance from Hamock H. Two of my favorite places.
Have a great time!!
