Well, Here we come to Beautiful San Pedro to try again to take home a trophy and bragging rights to Caye Caulker. The last race, the Greenreef Eco Challenge was so awesome and well supported by the town, I can't wait to try again.
Fortunately the Greenreef and Peace Corp volunteers along with the festival have put together another race on Sunday at 1 pm.

Caye Caulker is entering two solo racers, myself and Immer Perez, and one double team "Lova Downtown and The Cakeman" in the recreation division. We love to race in San Pedro.
Hope to see every one out there for the finish.
I hope to come in at least second or third behind Immer. Will we succeed? Come find out.
Look for me " the Great Barracuda" Allie Ifield on de watah.
Paddle for fun, Race to Win!

Ah Ha! you sound too wishful-Anyways, we're boating over to save our strength, but would like it if for September there was a race like that! Are you going in it?
fyi-Never ask a paddler if they "ROW", we paddle, and never ask a rower if they "paddle", a common watersport faux pas.

great fun for all. I plan to drag my self off of my death bed (the terrible flu turned to bronchitis) and wade out onto the spit at the Boca Del Rio playground. In this way I can photograph you guys coming down the river, around the bed and with the beautiful reef in the background, film you heading south.

Take only pictures leave only bubbles

Ouch, ScubaLdy, I hope you feel better soon! Drink lots of fluids, and have some chicken broth. At least you have a beautiful view to enjoy while you recover!

Hey, its me, I really enjoyed the race, honestly wish I could just take my time sometimes to enjoy the view. It was tough enough for me to feel like quitting inthe first hour but challenging enough for me to endure and feel good about my placing. Immer came first in the solo and I came 8minutes behind him for second place in the solos. But fourth over all, at the end there was three kayaks vying for third, fourth and fifth, we couldn't let up at all, I was tired!!!! Great race, great organizing and great prizes as usual. Love you all and thanks for the opportunity. I feel cool now having paddled around the entire caye, (the Eco Challenge and this combined.) Again thanks and can't wait till next year.
