My friend, Zoila, passed away early this morning suddenly from liver failure. Ms Zoila was best known as one of the servers at Ruby's Cafe. She was a loved member of family, San Pedro, and the Living Word Church. She sang beautifully at Church and cared for the young ones...as needed. She will be missed in San Pedro and her smile will most definately be missed.

We are so sorry to hear of this news. Zoila always served us breakfast with a smile and got to know us well. A year ago I mailed her a photo of she and her co-worker together at the counter. I have the same photo of them on a page in a Belize memory album. I will think of you Zoila, with my next portion of Rum Cake from Ruby's!

It's a bad day in paradise. No one should have to go so young and so loved.

Zoila would ride her bike to Ruby's from San Pedrito at 4:30AM inorder to get breakfast and coffee for the old-timers; Pete Graniel, Smokey, and many other early risers. She did love her job and mostly she loved people...even the unloveable.

So sorry to hear this I would go there for my pre breakfast ,breakfast???? and talk fishing with the locals I would hear her say here comes capt gordito gringo jeff I just loved it ..she will be missed..shit happens to nice people ????why????
