From Joe Miller in the Mata Chica area:
mostly cloudy w/ a 100% chance of showers...gotta run out in the drizzle
and fire of a coupla shots, cover the camera then trot back in.
we got word via local radio that WASA is shutting down operations at midnite. IF power is disrupted
before that, they will shut down sooner. No word that BEL is shutting
down.

We're boarded up on front windows in case he comes ashore between now
and the AM w/ easterly winds. We're pretty well protected on the back
side from westerlies.
Most people on the front are taking their boats around to the backside
in case he comes in w/ easterly wind. Rougher in back than in front
right now. tides at the boatyard are reported to be close to normal.
looks better on the ground than the sat photo shows. Little change since
this morning, maybe a little higher gusts--see palm trees, westerly
winds....also small rollers continue with tide steady at about 1ft over
normal.
