In most areas there are permitted conditions or zones. I am not sure if that is the case in AC or not. For example, in the Bahamas, if you are using a pole spear and no scuba, you can spear almost anything, including lobsters. In FL, you can spear in certain areas but never lobsters, and never in undersea parks and preserves. On many Carribean Islands, they frown (obviously) on spearing in popular scenic dive spots but do not mind in out-of-the-way coral heads, turtle-grass areas, etc. Some areas have certain fish that are taboo to spear and others that are not. Some islands have no regulations at all. Just wondering if anyone knows the particulars for AC. I usually like to take my folding polespear and nab a meal or two, but do not want to break any laws or have my equipment confiscated. Thanks.
