Hey everyone... I realize that the people of Belize are currently experiencing an awful tropical system, but I do want to ask a tourism related question. Right now, we have tickets on hold for the late-March/early-July timeframe. There is a possibility that work conflicts will prevent me from going then. If we must change our dates to early May instead, we will experience terrible rains inland? What about on AC? I know that "rainy season" begins in May. Thank you - and wishing the best to all the people impacted by the hurricane.

The rainy season just means that it rains then, not that it rains all the time. At worst you'll usually only see showers off and on, it's uncommon to have days of solid rain.

I've been on AC at different times during the rainy season. Quite frankly I enjoyed the rain... it's not a monsterous flooding and downpour that "rainy season" sounds like.
