You all have shown beautiful pictures. But, I have to ask, theres never anyone in the pictures locally, like right there. Is there a problem with the beachs or do you just not show people. The only reason I ask is that swimming is my only only means of exercise.

Swimming right off the beach is fine, just not the best due to the sea grass. Most who do swimming will swim off the end of the piers to avoid the sea grass.

I will have a Belikin -- put it on klcman's tab.

Please, I'm sorry I do not know sea grass. Is it like seaweed?

You see children playing in the water at the shore line. Adults usually swim from docks. I to like to swim and either stay at a place with pool or swim from the dock. The beaches are not like the wide expansive well groomed beaches of Florida or Mexico. You can swim from the beach just not many do.

Indygal, Thankyou, The beach still looks cool and inviting. Guess I will just have to wait till I get there. You all still look like your living the DREAM.

you'll need to wait for most of your questions until you get here, which I believe you once said is not until June.

Mar de Tumbo beach is the only natural beach on the island, mainly free from turtle grass.

Banyan Bay Villas, Grand Colony Villas and Banana Beach or on Mar de Tumbo beach.

Thank you SIN / That is good information for us "beach lovers". I plan on checking out the Banyon Bay & Grand Colony properties. Can't afford a place out there, but that won't stop me from seeing how the other half lives! I can dream can't I?
See ya later,
Pam
