Heavy rains reported in the wake of Chantal's passage in San Pedro.
As she's done a time or two today, Chantal is dragging her main
weather behind her center of circulation rather than shoving it in
front of her. here apars to be a special spot right over Ambergris
Caye. There is more rain coming up from the south, and it is all
likely to be dragged over the island. While the center of circulation
loses strength over land, it's also more likely to let go and dump.
There can of course be some pretty frisky local wind associated with
those big old internal systems.
