just go to the local grocery stores once you get there & fill up on whatever you need.

kristy / are you back home? How many groceries did you buy? We found that groceries are REALLY expensive. diane&greg / If there are items that you know you are going to crave or want while you're vacationing and you are bringing the cooler anyway - fill it up! We spent over $100.00 for breakfast things the first day we were there. (Coffee, bread, milk, eggs) It really took me awhile to get used to the prices at the supermarkets. I don't know how the locals can do it! I wonder if there might be a different price arrangement for people that live on the island - for their sake I hope so.

klcman / And what is that supposed to mean? The locals know how to "put it away". Thank goodness we don't drink booze anymore. That would really put a huge dent in the pocket! Hey, everybody out there!!!! What is the most you have spent on a night out drinking on AC. (Tell at least the part that you remember). Really, I bet we could get some fantastic stories. Simon / PM me if you would. I want to find out if I'm going to the right stores. I know you don't like to advertise one business over another, but this is IMPORTANT! Thanks, Pam

It means they don't, for the most part, eat the kinds of foods you & I do - most of the time - nothing more, nothing less. Compare your(my) normal brekkie with one of a San Pedrano. has nada to do with quantity.
Spent on a night out - per person or as a group for which you picked up the tab? Hmmm have tot think about that one (nodamnediceorowater, tyvm)

Biggest tab for a night/day (24 hours) out on the town. The most spent in a day for a killer hangover. I know there must be some outrageous tales you can share. I saw some serious money being spent at a few famous AC watering holes. How much have you spent? Come on admit it!

Include the tips too! I know you all get very generous after a few rum punches...
