We wanted to give you an update from San Pedro and SEAduced. Elito ran
evacuations of all the primary teachers and their families to Belize at
5:30 the morning. We then sent the boats full tourists and locals to Bomba
Village, where they had transportation waiting. Two of our boats will stay
there.
Elito and I are home with the kids and we have a few people staying with
us. For now all is calm. We have had only minimal rain so far. All we
can do now is wait and hope for the best.
Both Elito and I know that San Pedro and the people who live here are
resiliant and will work tirelessly to get back to normal as quickly as
possible.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to our fellow Belizeans as well as to our
fellow Americans who have suffered recenlty as well.
We will keep you updated as long as we have power.
