Has anyone stayed at Tradewinds Paradise Villas? How is the view of the ocean from the second floor? Is there a lot of noise coming from the Blue Tang next door? Thanks so much for your help.

Stayed there one nite, they have a nice large pool,
there is only a few ocean views.Stayed in the one right next to the Blue Tang.
You won't hear anything from the Blue Tang, I'll be staying there Jan. 28 -Feb. 4th & also the first wk. of May. The Blue tang is my favorite place to stay, great location.
Paradise Villas is nice, you can exit the beach side or town side.

Thanks for the reply. Do you like Blue Tang better than Tradewinds? If so, why? Peace. - Noah

We have stayed in both Paradise Villas and Blue Tang. They are comparable in price and in amenities, but Blue Tang has a wonderful staff, making it the better place. Paradise Villas is larger, and I found a bit noisier, and most rooms don't have AC except in the bedrooms, if that makes a difference. Blue Tang is like an efficiency, where the kitchen/bedroom/living area is all in one room, and PV has seperate bedrooms from living area. Either one will suffice if you are like us, only spend a limited time in the room, but expect clean accomodation.

Agree 100% with sun & sand, they also have a nice contiental breakfast.Great staff & location, close to everything in town.Have stayed there last 4 trips.
Check out their web site on lodging, I think you'll like it much better than Sunbreeze which can get a little loud depending on where your room is located.

We have stayed at Nellie Gomez Paradise Villas and at the Blue Tang. I loved both of them....what one lacks in one area, it makes up for in another. The PV pool is larger, but I liked the chairs at BT and there are umbrellas and tables. The AC is nice at BT, but separate areas for living and sleeping at PV were good for having friends in...and the AC from the bedroom eventually cooled the unit. (Some of Nellie's units have central air...ask.) BT has on on-site office, PV will come within minutes of your call, both had great staffs and made you feel like they wanted you there! They were both helpful and prompt answering emails with my many questions. The porches at the PV units were nice for visiting, the third floor deck and pool seating were nice at BT. BT unit 15 is great, but not unit 7....guests had to walk by your windows when they came up the steps. PV has a good dock that we also used when we were at BT. The continental breakfast is a BT plus, as are the pool towels you can request at the desk. Landscaping was lush at both. The grocery stores are within a couple of minutes walk. We weren't bothered by noise. You can't go wrong with either place.
Have a great trip!
We will be in San Pedro in 32 days. Can't wait!

How disappointing...I will have to wait longer...37 days. I thought 32 sounded too good to be true!
