Is there any current news from Placencia...I have a son there and must say I am very worried. Not sure if he evacuated....he is staying with Maralyn Gill. Any information would be appreciated

During Hurricane Mitch the drill was that if you were north of Seine Bight you were sent to Georgetown- if south you got to go to Mango Creek/Independence area. Pretty sure that they did mandatory evacuation. Marty is right. Just have to have some patience and see who reports in. I am confused over what dock they are reporting that the boat overturned at. Are they trying to say Big Creek Port? Can anyone clarify

Is your son JJ? I got an email from him over the weekend saying he was in Houston, TX. He gave me a phone number - have it at home email address of [email protected] Send me an email and I'll get you the number... but I know he's ok!

No my son is Toby..he and JJ are friends though
