Hi folks,

I am quite new to this site and have a quick question. I am currently organizing my upcoming honeymoon and have fallen in love with the photos and descriptions I have read about Ambergris Caye and San Pedro.

I am wondering, are there any all inclusive resorts on the island?

Thanks a bunch.

Resorts with all-inclusive options: Journey's End Resort.

You may not want to limit yourself though, the island offers a wide variety of goods and services.

I am also looking at taking a honeymoon on Ambergris Caye. What is everyone's opinion of Belizean Shores and Blue Reef Island Resort? I need help trying to find the best place to stay. Thanks.

Both very nice, both up north, Blue Reef is superb but a ways from town, not always a bad thing.

If you want the best try:

Cayo Espanto
Grand Colony Villas

Journey's End is the only one on the entire island?

Glad for it!! I've done the all-inclusive thing and it has its advantages. But, we went to AC specifically to engross ourselves in a new culture. We quickly found that if we were going to do an all-inclusive again, we may as well go to Florida for all the unique culture we're going to get.

I will have a Belikin -- put it on klcman's tab.

Personally, if I were going to AC, I wouldn't take any all-inclusive. One of the things I like is being able to get out and enjoy the culture and foods of different places. Plus it's not an unlimited all inclusive, as there are restrictions on what you can drink I believe.

My advice: don't take an all-inclusive deal. eek

Been to many islands and just returned from AC. Would NEVER do an all inclusive, it's just so restricting, you'd never get to see and feel the culture of the island/country you're in, and as someone else said, if that's what you want to do, just stay in one spot for the duration, you could do that a lot cheaper by going to Florida.

Just one person's opinion....... laugh
