Great to know, thanks everyone. Maybe we'll run into each other Xoe. We will be easy to pick out, we will be the ones with "web feet" from all our rain!

Some doubt lingers because we have 2 plane changes, first DFW, then MIA. Shouldn't be a problem UNLESS the first and/or 2nd flight runs late, cutting connection time too close. Each connection is 90 minutes, which is enough IF planes are on time.

Yes, Red Penny, we'll be recognizable by our web feet and pale complexions, won't we? Such a rainy January! I'm traveling with my sister (our husbands dislike air travel); she's a redhead, I'm salt-&-pepper and almost 6' tall, so you may recognize us. If you see us, say "Are you Xoe?". That would be fun!

We flew on AA back in December and b/c of snow delays leaving Boston, arrived at DFW too late for the only flight out at 12:45 to BZE. We had visions of our luggage sitting, unlocked, at BZE, but when we checked were told it was at DFW and apparently the airlines won't put luggage on an international flight if the traveller hasn't already been checked in and is on board the plane. Just the story we were told; bummer tho' to lose one whole day's holiday!

We used to just take carry-on stuff to most of the island we went to, just seems like there's more STUFF to take these days!

Cheers!
Moon

Ok Xoe, we'll try to spot you. My Husband and I are both short he 5'6 and I'm 5'1. I have redish brown hair and blue eyes. My hubby is some what "salty". It should be fun to see if we can pick each other out. Have a great trip either way!

I just want to suggest that anyone flying to San Pedro only take what they need for their trip. A lot of excess necessities will not only overwhelm the passenger but the pilot as well.If he has help with unloading that will be great!!

"Excess necessities"? I'd think if it's a necessity it isn't excess, & vice versa??

The trick is figuring out what we really need (or not) for a new destination, and it looked much more difficult if it were likely the checked bags wouldn't get there when we did -- hence this query on the message board.
