Hi everyone! New to this forum, and going to be new to Belize in 3 days. CAN'T WAIT!! However, in looking at the extended forecast, it's showing rain for all of next week...what is it typically like when it rains in Belize? All day wet and gloom, or just scattered showers this time of year? Any info would be much appreciated.

were are you staying, if on AC then it usually will come in go in less than 10 mins, but if theres a system over the area it may rain constantly (that doesn't happen to often)

my experience is that rains in Belize are warm tropical rains. The rain has never been so hard or so cold that I didn't enjoy myself. I've never seen "all day wet and gloom", as you put it. Have fun, I'll see you in about a week.

yeah i think the weather man said that they had over 28 days of constant rain, how can someone live there?

Victoria B.C was one day short of hitting the 32 straight days of rain record (set in 1952) we're swimming here, but everything is so lush & green.If they put out water restrictions again this summer then I know something fishy is going on
