Every time you post the underlying idea seems to be "how can Steve make even more money off this island" Is there any other thought lurking enjoying your life or contributing is some way the your new adopted country. You oooze greed and it is a real turn off.

It is the controlled pace of development that has allowed this island to retain it's charm, despite what I am sure must be constant pressures on the Town Council and also helped keep the wealth in the hands of the locals....where it belongs. Too bad you don't seem to get that.

I think SP's moved past the "charm" some folks tend to recall. Still a nice place to visit but a far cry from the island of a dozen (or even five) years ago.

KB, maybe you don't get it.
Yes, I bought property up North, and plan to develope it some day, and this info is important to , not only me, but a lot of others on the land.
When the time comes for me to develope, this will be taken into consideration, as well as other factors, still to come.
This is business, as well as pleasure, and I intend to keep bringing up these topics.
What did Toronto look like 10 years ago. What about your own home. How often do you go to AC, anyway. Do you own any property there, or are you to scared to make a investment there.
Wake up and get real, would ya.
AC will never loose it's charm, if we do it right, and I plan on doing my part, as much as I can.

Clhoe, fill me in as to what the candidates have to say, as this is what I am trying to find out.
It seems like a lot of post'ers criticize, and don't look into these subjects.
At least you are discussing this topic with intelligence, thanks.

I bought land south of San Pedro, built a house and have visited 4 times a year for the past 5 years - first visit 20 years ago. All this without endless consultation to the message board....amazing. Does that give me some "street cred"?

Yes it does. I was just asking.
I figure your prop has gone up in value, congratulations.I know you would not sell it for what you have in it, less the increase in todays value. Am I right.
May we keep SP the quaint town it is.
What road.

STEVE: Read the onlinepaper for the candidares position. There are 3 available on this site just for AC. Of course I found their views less than clear.
