Frankly, this "official" site is pretty useless. There is much better information here on Marty's site.

I agree with Lan, the belizeemergency site sucks ... there is more accurate & uptodate info here. As a matter of fact, Mary was urgently trying to tell me to get my butt over to the site, and they were all really relived to hear I'd found Marty's site already.

So, our sentiment is also shared by those on the front line!

My mistake, it is http://www.belizeemergency.net .

Again, it is a different source of information than this board. Both are valuable. Other destinations are covered at the BelizeEmergency site and also information to try and keep tourism flowing to other locations in the country.

By the way, click on the Iris banner, or the "Events" button, then on "Destinations" for District specific info.
