Seats are the same as far as I could see. I'll mention it to them and I do know what you mean.

I've enjoyed many great meals on AC, but my vote for best food for the dollar must be Papi's.

For reasonably priced, I would put Ali Baba at the top of the list, you get not only dinner, but breakfast and/or lunch makings for 15BZ.
A point about some of the more expensive places: the amount of food is very generous, usually leaving enough to take home for a snack, or breakfast. This is what I do at Taste of Thai and Blue Water Grill.

Nothing like Estel's Dine by the sea for early coffee & Breakfast. I find that what you order makes more of a difference than where you eat. Of course fish, chicken, or rice & beans are going to be cheaper than steak or lobster. Eat what the locals eat and it will be cheaper. Also easy to pick up groceries and enjoy some meals at your hotel. Speaking of Hotels - what about the Holiday Hotel Beach Bar-B-Q and the Lion's club Bar-B-Q? They used to be the best deals & meals in San Pedro. Belize it!

Ali Baba's is top notch stuff. The Lebanese Sandwhich is killer!

Antojitos, close to Banyan Bay and just across from Marina's (San Telmo) is equally awesome. I eath lunch there everyday for $US3.50 which includes some of the best chicken and beans (no rice, low carb diet) on the island. Good stuff!

They had pork chops and baked potatoe for $US5.50 today!
