Hi,

I am coming to Ambergris Caye in a few months.

Are there ATM's in San Pedro or anywhere else on the Caye.

Isn't there Scotiabank right there when you get off the puddle jumpers from the mainland? If it isn't Scotiabank, it's another bank.

Very strange..did not know that. I just usually come down with enough cash and use the credit card for anything expensive, such as the hotel, scuba and tours.

The situation with the A.T.M. at Scotia bank may have changed, the manager there last year said they were going to get international service but she could'nt say when.

Question, who charges the $5 fee? I usually pulse from my credit union account and never get charged the additional $5 but I used the BofA check card this last time and did get charged. So I assume it's to your banks discretion...? I paid $8US for a $200US withdrawl! That's a lot!

My bank charged me, here at home I don't get charged, and when I go to the States I don't, but for some reason only my bank knows I was charged in Belize.

By the way, the best ATM to visit is the ATM caves near Cayo... wink Worth the trip.
