We are a group of independent missionaries(3 families) working with NEMO to
help fill needs here. Right now, our immediate need is funds for fuel to
transport villagers and workers each day. We have two vans. We've helped by
bringing villagers in for medical attention and fed and housed them until
they could be returned to their village. There was a young girl(about 9
yrs. old) brought in last night with a gaping wound to her face, caused by
a piece of zinc. The team was able to take her, along with one or two
others, for medical care. We
furnished food for San Jose village Tuesday evening, but Wednesday food was
supplied through NEMO or some government agency. Each day we'll see more
what is necessary for us to try to get aide for and what will be supplied by
some other means. The needs now appear to be zinc for roofing; tools for
cleanup--machetes, hoes, rakes; kitchenwares---pots, pans, etc. We're not
sure yet what all we might be responsible for. We just want to be able to
help with whatever arises. For instance, today we're filling a butane
bottle for use by an entire village for cooking, hosting villagers in our
home, and transporting workers to help with cleanup and feeding.

Further info on this:
=========
Marty: a friend in P.G. e.mailed me of the situation in the villages. Eldridge was hit badly, lost four houses and roof to the big house owned by Dana and Gayle. It gets worse as you go further down the road. My friend Bob Farley, a missionary, has made a few trips out to the villages with baby food, water and sandwiches. He is in need of money for gas and supplies. I have sending money tomorrow. I'm sure they will run out though - not sure if the roads to B.C. are clear. If anyone can get supplies to him he is at [email protected] - lives in Hopeville.

We do have a Belize Bank account
here in PG. The account # 500.5895 is in the name of Bob Farley.

Our US account account is under Dogwood Baptist Church for Living Word Church
Missionary Fund at First National Bank of Athens, P.O.Box 751, Athens,
Texas, 75751. Account #306-122-1. Routing #111903850. . Thank
you, Rhonda Farley
