MikeH375,
I brought back four bottles of the Flor de Cana from Costa Rica in December and I would agree it is very good. I have never really noticed any conflicting flavors with the One Barrel just the nice carmel taste. I will be sipping some Sunday night!

Well our plane lands at 2:15, so I figure I'll have my first one at Jets about 2:45.

Mike375, we so enjoyed meeting you, and thanks again for the drinks. I'm glad you and Joan enjoyed San Pedro. It's not for everyone, and that's a good thing. Allows those of us who love SP to have a bit more space, and welcome in those who appreciate it the way it deserves.
I am hoping to have more time the next trip, and perhaps you and Joan will be there, who knows. We also managed to put faces to names in a lot of instances, and totally enjoyed meeting everyone.
IT's good to be back home, but hopefully home will be SP in the near future.
Glad you got home safely, and happy you are planning another trip to San Pedro. Best regards, my friend.

Nice trip report, I was there about 4wks. ago with my wife and we also tried Caramba's, we didn't care for it either. The food was ok but as we left the restaurant we both felt like we had been rushed. Our main course arrived within 3 minutes after our appetitzer. We are on vacation and don't liked to be hurried. we were in & out in maybe 30 minutes.
As far as One Barrel I'd have to agree with you. I prefer the Carribean White, brought 4 liters back.
My wife is a serious rum drinker and her favorite is Barbencourt from Haiti. She also loves the Carribean White.
Glad you had a great trip. Not surprised you are planning to go back. Everyone does!

I've never been rushed in Caramba's and the service was excellent. Though I must admit, I don't particularly like onions on my chicken.

beachboy, how you doing? We'll definitely be back. We'll want to see what kind of magic you're working in the kitchen. We already know how fabulous your pizza is.

By the way, thanks for seeing that Joan and I got back safely to our hotel.
