It has been unequivocally decided that we here at our establishement, with special emphasis on myself, are the absolute best in Belize. We are, quite simply the greatest. Our unchallenged superiority in the following arenas is without question:
Best food: including with special emphasis, but not limited to, stuffed grouper, tostones, conch pizza, plantain crusted shrimp, grilled romaine salads, salads of all types, ceviche, pesto, sauces of all types as well as the general preparation and plating of most all seafood, poultry, bovine animals, pork, game meat, shellfish, etc, breads and baked goods, ice cream, grains, starches, vegetables, fruits, tropical and otherwise, and all those items generally recognized as fit for human consumption.
Best restaurant atmosphere, including but not limited to view, beachfront, furnishing, lighting, decor, paint, tile, flooring, accents and floral arrangements
Best liquor selection, including all rums, tequila, scotch, bourbon, cachaca, vodka, wines (both red and white), cordials, ports, digestive's and elixers of all types.
Best resort atmosphere, including location, architecture, interior design, furniture design, pool, palapas, dock, landscaping, guest amenities, etc.
Best of absolutely everything else: With respect to all the facets, attributes, qualities and characteristics of existence that, from place to place, vary in degree of quality, we are the absolute best in ALL of them as well. ALL.
We are also the absolute best in judgement, thus, the decision of our superiority is all the above mentioned areas, being determined by US, cannot be questioned or negated.

I just wanted to be the first to recognize and congratulate myself on the above (self) recognition. It truly makes all of our hard work and endeavors worthwhile to be (self)proclaimed as the best

SFJeff, I hope you didn't hurt yourself, patting yourself on the back that way.

Jeff - How could you - forget to mention the name - ROJO LOUNGE.! Here is a true testimonial - and this goes for the other thread where the gf is planning every little detail for the "thrifty" bf..
One of my old bf's came here last year on his honeymoon. They liked it so much they asked if they could come back for their anniversary. On the last day of this 8 day trip their catamaran snorkel trip to Hol Chan and Shark & Ray Alley was cancelled. So, on the spur of the moment I drove them up to Playa Blanca Beach area to meet friends of mine. We visited and then went for lunch before going fishing.
I did not know that Rojo's was closed on Sunday & Monday but soon after getting comfortable at a beach table I spotted the sign and this was Monday. Louis came out and asked what we wanted. We laughed and said "Lunch, but we see you are closed." "Ah, yes, but what do you want?" "Is Jeff here?" "Yes. But he is resting." Oh, have you heard from Al? I'm a friend of his." "Yes, Miz Harriette, I know. Yes, we did hear from him. The assistant chef is here, maybe he can fix you something." Carlos asked, "Any chance of getting some cheviche?" "I think so, anything else?" "How about a salad?" asked Chantal. "Let me ask," said Louis. "How about something to drink?" When Louis promptly brought our drinks he reported that our order was being prepared. "Any chance of getting a conch pizza?" I asked. "I"ll see." As we were finishing our pizza - stuffed - Jeff came out to chat. We told him he should be closed more often! We could not have done any better had we had the entire menu to choose from.
Then we went back to my friends and I got to nap and read while they went snorkeling and fishing at Mexico Rocks. That night they both said it was their best day here and could they please come back next year for their anniversary?
Thanks Jeff - for running a 1st class establishment.
