VH is really nice, a next nice place to check,
is Captain Morgan's Retreat if you would like to stay up north on the Island.

Capt. Morgans used to have a bad reputation for aggressive timeshare tactics...have things changed at all?

We stay at Captain Morgans every year and love it. The time share people are super there and the rest of the staff make you feel like you are at home. We are already booked for next Feb.

That's good to hear.

We stopped in a few months ago just to have drinks at the bar. It took us most of the time we were there to convince at least two different people we didn't want to hear even a little bit of the time share pitch.

We stayed at Belizean Shores in January and think it's an excellent choice for north of town. There are a number of photos of Belizean Shores, both the interior of our unit and the grounds, in my ShutterFly collection.

I've stayed at 1 and 3. Corona del mar is close to town, nice little beach, nice breakfasts, very personal (small). and lots of free punch; a good way to meet the other guests if you like to drink a lot and play horseshoes.
Belizean Shores is good for a 1 week stay, with your own full kitchen, best simming pool, great service and staff.
