I am fortunate to be able to come back to beautiful A/C in Sept, using a friend's timeshare week. I would really appreciate any feedback on Capt. Morgan's versus Aqua Marina Suites, other than their locations, which I am already aware.
I may be visiting solo, so I am leaning more towards Aqua Marina, where I would be closer to town, for fun, bars, restaurants, and casinos.
Also, is it unbearably hot and rainy from Sept 1st - 9th? Thanks, Karen

The Sunbreeze is not in my friend's book for trading.

I may just forget about the cheap timeshare, and stay at Xanadu again, I loved it there. Susan runs specials in the off season, so it will be much cheaper than what I paid in May.

Been in Xanadu - looks nice but I love Banana Beach (this is the part where I say I have promised not to pick on the owner) wink
Girls' week Sept 1 through 9 - four of us for sure, maybe one more - flying out of LAX on TACA - it would be fun to meet you!

Sounds like a plan to me. Those are my original dates. I wanted to fly AA, to come back through Dallas, but I can only get that flight going there, but not returning, and I don't want to go to Miami, then back to LAX. Maybe I will look into TACA? Are you taking the 1:53am flight?

yes - tickets were around $450, which is pretty good from CA - plus only one short layover in San Salvador, so on the beach in San Pedro well before noon!

morgans is great. propably the best big resort on the island. Aqua marine suites is also nice and in town but not anywhere near as upscale as morgans.
