Deacon, you need to try one of their fabulous pasta dishes next time. They are all really good and they are served in dinner sized portions. Order a tapateaser for starters but save room for Jen's awesome desserts and you will not go away hungry. The pastas also are a better 'value' for your $$.

Isn't this a place for opinions rather than rudeness and condescension - especially from respected regulars.

Deacon, perhaps you should try the place once more before making that call. You don't have to agree with the rest of us but at least try it once more. Also remember that it's harder to get certain items to the island so it would make sense that, all around, the food may cost just a bit more than what you might expect in CA(although, I didn't think this was the case).

good grief...what if the man had actually said something controversial instead of giving his opinion. can't say that i am surprised by the responses though...very typical. BTW my wife and i have always enjoyed the food at CP.

deacon, I live here on the island and always enjoy my eating experiences at Casa Picasso. And I've always walked away from there absolutely stuffed. And if you doubt my appetite ask Bad Peter how much food I can consume at a single sitting.

If you want to talk about small portions- Try a fish sandwich at the Tackle Box. Two ounce portion of fish.

Also had fish and potato salad (they substituted potato salad for chips as they were out of french fries) at Fido's the other day and four ounces of fish at best there.

Beer was cold at Tackle Box. Warm at Fido's.

yep, even more than California prices here...my sister kept saying how expensive things were last week and I kept wanting to buy everything and bring it back cause it was still cheap compared to the stores here!
