To everyone in the DFW area- they are great group of people, we have been to several of their functions and have been very pleased with their dedication to Belize and the US.

Marty, Rick, Cheri and other concerned for the affected people of Hurricane Iris, MANY THANKS on behalf of BUDFW!

We would appreciate your donations in to help my dear Belizeans as soon as possible. We have a first shipmnet of mostly used clothing leaving on Monday 10/22 for Belize to be delivered to Belize Red Cross. We have been in contact with Marylee Ellis - Deputy Director of Belize Red Cross. There will be a second shipment with date TBD. Send all you donations to:

BUDFW wants to thanks all donors that have already contributed and that have pledge to to contribute. We will have approximately 1800 lbs mostly clothing shipped on 10/23 to Belize by Belizean trucker Elbert Flowers, providing he has space for all of it. Please keep the contributions rolling in as a second shipment is already in the making.

On behalf of Belizean people who severed the wrought of Hurricane Iris, thank you.

Shipment left PM 10/23/01. 31 boxes and 4 barrels (TWO THOUSANDS POUNDS) to Red Cross Headquarters in Belize. Tentative arrival date 11/2/01. Cost for shipping US $700.00 which funded by money sponsors of the Dallas Fort Worth area. Thanks to all.

The BUDFW Hurricane Iris Relief Action Committee will meet again on 10/29 to discuss ongoing relief efforts. Second shipment is already in progress.
