Hi,
I am excited to have my trip booked to San Pedro for October, but this will be my first time there and flying solo. I'm staying at the Mayan Princess and hope to do some diving and just relax a bit, but otherwise are their any daytrips that are a must do...or places I should be sure to enjoy a meal or live music?

Lots of great info on this board and seems like this first trip won't be the last!! smile

How long will you be there?

Consider a day trip to Lamanai with Daniel Nunez (Tanisha Tours) to explore the ruins. He, IMNSHO, is the best. Also a day-trip to Caulker is always enjoyable.

Dennis Wolf plays around SP several nights a week. Punta Boys at Canucks on Mondays. Check out the RoadKill cafe and Fidos as well.

See Capt Jeff's food/fishing reports on the Trip Report section for protein/carb replenishments. As many have said, it's HARD to find a bad meal on AC. And, if Charlene is not still on her well deserved break, check out BC's Sunday BBQ! And even if she is, it's still a great place to hangout relax & imbibe!

I second everything that klcman said!! Fidos is good pretty much everynight of the week, be sure to check this place out. Get some drinks made from a bartender named Glen...he's one cool cat! And want to see an ariel view of the Island, and the reef from up above be sure to check out the Parasailing offered at the Fidos dock. Beautiful view!! The beach BBQ at BC's is delicious, especially the shrimp and ribs....mmmmm...enjoy!

Happiness is a voyage, not a destination....live & enjoy every moment....

Ida - Charlene taking a well deserved break during slow season. I have it on good authority she'll be back soon. (That's why I said IF, Adam  )

Food is certainly important to the dining experience, but don't forget what you might have to put up with in terms of company.
