I am considering selling my AC vacation condo, and buying a much smaller one.

If I do this, I will (hopefully) make a profit. I am told that it is difficult to get BZ dollars out of the Country.

What is the best way to do this (Condo is held in a Corp).

Only sell in US dollars would seem to be the easiest solution.

Also best to do it one on one so that specifics of your situation are properly addressed.

You do not say what country you live in - each country has a different currency and different tax laws - contact an ac****ant in your home country to get advice on repatriating the funds.

Title to the property is a Belize legal thing.
Title to the shares in a Belizean company is a Belize legal thing.
Ergo - the transaction must be registered in Belize.

Go to a expert ,on this !!!Start with a very good real,estate agent on the island ..One with a good track record,and has been here for years!!!! Not one who just came down ,to make a quick buck...Next get very good legal advice ,from a good belize Attorney who does this all the time!!! they will help you thru the full deal !!!!! If you do this alone you will have grief ...Do not do it.. the juice will not be worth the squeeze!!!

Yes brother peter , your right my point is for sure you must get Real Estate agent #1 ,but you must get a Attorney also to watch your back..It only cost money.And yes thanks for reminding me for the one hundreth time what a deal chris got me at royal palm !!!!!I almost forgot???????you have not told me that in three weeks.
