I must regretfully announce the passing of Peggy Hancock, long-time resident of Ambergris Caye. A wake will be held tonight at her residence in Buena Vista. Funeral plans will be announced later.

I hope you are not trying to be funny or rude about one of the longest serving residents of the island -whose family,by the way, has helped most of the people on this island at one time or another-a truly good soul and a very unhappy day

My mother's funeral will take place early friday afternoon at the RC Church, time yet to be set. Thanks to all who came to the wake and sent prayers, food, and good wishes to my family, and who have helped us in so many ways during this very sad time for us. Nurse Natalie

Miss Peggy's son's name is Mike. Nurse Natalie has delivered many many babies here on the island.

I just talked to Natalie and her brothers name is Peter Michael.

Miss Peggy was one of the first locals that my family I met on our first trip to SP in 2000. I remember what a sweet lady she was. My condolences to her family and friends.
