Can anyone reccomend a good spa. I am staying at Captain Morgan's and will be by myself a few days while my hubby fishes. I may have to get there by myself since I am sure he will not accompany me to a spa. Anything close to Captain Morgan's that is good and decently priced?

Also when I look on Ambergris Caye is not a choice for weather. Should I click on Belize City or Turneffe Island for weather most similiar to Ambergris. Thanks!

I am so excited to come to Belize I may have a lot more ques in the next few days thanks for all the advice!!!!

Try the address below, it is a weather setup right on Ambergris Caye.

Don't know of any spas on the north end. In town, Carrie at Sol Spa is wonderful and they offer a full line of services. Also had a girlfriend go to Asian Gardens (I think that's what it's called) when we there in Sept. She thought the massage was wonderful.

There are a couple of people who will come to you for massage, don't know if they will go north.

no worries traveling into town yourself. Many travel alone here, friendly place. Sol Spa is wonderful.

I'd venture to say San Pedro town is safer than most American cities. You will find the people friendly, helpful and willing to engage in conversation. I highly recommend taking a day to stroll the streets while hubby is fishing. Shoping is not generally my deal, but there are some unique things to see, some fabulous artwork and lots of drinks and snacks to be had. You really will enjoy a day in town.

Have no idea where they take you but if it's to Maruba, I'd skip it. Way overpriced, products imported from the states and food was of the "salsa from a jar" variety. Just my two cents.

Carrie at Sol Spa is without a doubt one of the nicest people I know. Enjoy your trip and your visit to the spa!
