Another, more upscale option, would be to check with the condotels on the island -- several rent some units on a monthly basis, with or without utilities.

Banyan Bay has some apartments they rent and you have full access to the resort. I rented for 2 months and really enjoyed it. The apartments are only about 4 years old, fully furnished, with central air and maid service.
