Snowbird, stamp tax due to come down to between 5% and 10% very soon. In a country with no capital gains tax this should make any real estate purchase a lot nicer for the buyer.

It doesn't matter, I will guarantee to any buyer of the final Lakeside Villa unit that they will pay no more than 5% Stamp Transfer Tax. If I have to make up the difference I will.

Is the new stamp tax still due to be 10% on the portion above >US$100k, 5% for what's between US$10k - 99.9K and free under US$10k?
