Hey kiddo!!!
Sounds great!!!! Frank is elevated to sainthood. I'm cooking the turkey at my mother in laws. My sister in law found out I was cooking and said, "Thank goodness for small miracles. I won't have to eat turkey jerky this year!!!!!! LMAO
So what is everyone's favorite pie? I'm making buttermilk pie, pumpkin and lemon. Just what I need........ I'll be wearing them all behind me on the 24th!!!! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving gang!!!! will be thinking of all of you, and how thankful I am to know all of you.

Hello all! For the first time in 30 years the kids and their families have their own agendas so it will be "just the two of us" spending our Thankgiving together. We are really looking forward to it. As I love to cook, I will be doing a small turkey, stuffing, mashed white potatoes and gravy, sweet potatoes, cranberries, corn, cabbage/tomato salad and pumpkin pie. Yes, we will have leftovers, but they will be gone by the time we leave for AC on the 28. [Linked Image] Hope to meet some of you there!
May you all have the Happiest of Thanksgivings.

delila, once, a few years ago, before we had kids, we decided to turn off the world for a weekend and did it ourselves. turkey for 4 days. it was wonderful. enjoy.

chloe, you failed to mention if you are cooking this year??

debbie, i have an awesome recipe for a yam, cranberry and marshmallow crisp, served with dinner. the kids love it if ya want it. i am making something new this year; ginger cake, served with raspberry sauce, brandy sauce, or maybe both. maybe too a cranberry/gran marnier cheesecake (to die for!).

YES YES I am cooking, but just for my three grandchildren, hubby is Chicago with his family. My menu is the about the same as Delila's except for the cabbage/tomato salad, mine will be a tossed salad.
