Isn't this a beautiful place? The show does a wonderful job of showing off our island.
Nevermind the silly premise, the views are fabulous!

I agree... the island looked absolutely stunning. I am sure that people watching the show will want to visit and especially stay at the 2 resorts shown last night. I agree that the premise is kind of silly but we're all watching it for the beauty of the scenery... right? I just can't figure out where exactly that waterfalls is located on the island... Maybe I missed it...

So you watched it after all??? LOL

I too was impressed with the resorts, the photography and scenery. The beaches were gorgeous, as were all the trees. I had to wonder though, since this was filmed "Pre Keith" do you think all the trees are still standing at Mata Chica? Have they replanted? It was definately good exposure for Ambergris. That's for sure. Should give tourism a shot in the arm. I read that tourism rates are down a bit due to Keith. This should help. It certainly accelerated my San Pedro fever. Major bummed though. Bought a new car New Year's and used my "Belize stash" for a down payment. Keep fingers crossed for good tax return. [Linked Image]

I'm not sure about Mata... but at JER they lost at least 30 trees, along with a lot of other stuff. I imagine quite a few places north lost trees.

Yes, I watched... I tried very hard to concentrate on the beautiful scenery but the bikini clad girls kept getting in the way.

Think the massage therapist is still there?

#133716 - 01/11/01 04:40 PM Re: Temptation Island

looked just like it did when i was there. (just 2 weeks prior to taping). frank only saw a minute of it but asked why they weren't all slapping the mosquitos off themselves every 2 seconds like we were.

denny, the waterfall is in pine mountain ridge nat'l park, near cayo. we went there in '93, it is amazing, but i dont think they moved it to san pedro...

The island did look absolutely stunning. Wow, I can't wait to get there in May for my first visit. Because of Keith it will be one year since I made my original reservations! I have the fever.
