Zeke made his travel plans once again so please no more hurricanes, earthquakes, or any other natural disasters please! I am going to be arriving in Belize City on Sunday June,3,2001. From there I am renting a car and my wife and I are going to the zoo. Sure hoping they don't keep me there. From there we are driving to Cayo and staying at the Chaa Creek Resort and spending two days there. On Tuesday back to our car and driving to Placencia where we will spend two more nights at the Rum Point Inn. On Thursday, now here is where I need someone's help, we are going by boat or air to Amergris Caye where we will spend four nights probably at Ramon's. Monday morning back to Belize City and then Florida. All suggestions will be deeply appreciated but please no one suggest we stay home! These ain't finalized so lay some ideas on me.

BZ,

I can't imagine what the question is...TAKE THE AIR.

(Oh yeah, I noticed that you left the always popular tour of Hattieville off your itinerary)

What I wanted to know is there anyway I can fly directly from Placencia to AC or do I have to fly from Placencia to Belize City and then to AC? If that was the case I would go the boat route from Placencia to AC if that was available.

I don't think you can boat from Placencia to AC unless you hire a private boat and that would be expensive and make for a very long day. Like all day. Fly to BC and then to AC.

BZ,

I looked in to that last year. There were flights from AC to Plancencia, I think twice a day. They may stop in BC (to refresh in-flight beverage service, I suppose) and then continue. Hey...Tropic has a web page, they probably got this down pat. ("Papa's" 'puter must be down or he'd answer this for us in a moment.) I know they fly twice a day to and from Plancencia. Times are another matter. My memory says early .am. and mid afternoon.
