Hubby and I (30's) are going to book a Jungle & Reef tour - any recommendations on who to use?

We would like to stay at Blancanaeux Lodge in Cayo for 4 days and The Victoria House in Ambergris Caye for 4 days.

Want to rent a car (4 x 4) for Cayo - does anyone know how far Blancanaeux is from Belize Airport, and how far the "jungle stuff" is from Blancanaeux?

MUCH thanks!

i have heard barb from is terrific.

in 1993, i think it took about 2+ hours drive to get to san ignacio (cayo) from the airport. does that sound right everyone? there is just one road that runs east to west, cant miss it. we also rented a 4x4. it was a lot of fun. the adventure of a lifetime.

the jungle and ruins are there too. you can see photos at //

Victoria House has Javier on site who can book any tours you want from the island. I know that because when I left V.H. he took my place. I think Blancaneaux has the same. Most places can book tours for you and they have guides that they use regularly. When I lived in Belize and worked at 4 different resorts, that is what I did, guest services and would sit with our guests and explain in detail the various tours available and book them for the guests.
