I found this web site this morning while looking for vacation ideas and am hooked--Ready to get on a plane today! Would like information/ideas on when the best time of year to visit and some of the highlights for a "newbee" not to miss (for what I hope to be the first of many trips) Interested in r&r, local attractions & diving.

ha ha ha, here we go again!! if you have the time, read the "about ambergris" board. anything that rings your bell, go to upper right & do a search on it. you will find MORE than you'll ever need to know. also check out the home page. your head will be spinning!

I have been reading this message board as well as Ambergriscaye.com. I'll bet there isn't one question that hasn't been answered or asked. I've been watching for 5 months (leave in about 3 weeks)... Not that I'm a world traveler..but this is absolutely the best way to make travel plans..... The only scarey thing is that sometimes some people get a little paranoid (i.e. see the nurse shark posts...too many bug questions, etc.). In the end, the regulars on the board gently get the posters calmed down...I'm sure that that is what Belize is all about.... I'm a rookie...but when I get back I can graduate... I want to go next year already...

Ralph your take is right on. Everything you said is absolutely true. Go and enjoy, and we know you will return next year.

First Time Visitors! Watch Out! The Belize Bug might bite and you will have to return year after year. Belize is highly addictive and you will be sitting at your desk looking at your Belize Photos itching to go back ASAP! I am going through this every day. I can not handle waiting until June anymore. This is pure torture!
