I will be in Belize (in Placencia)for most of July. I want to fish as much as possible. Should I bring my own gear and if so what should I bring?

mikeo we bring some fishing gear, rod, reel, line, hooks, etc. Hooks & line & stuff make good gifts too. I don't know what you should bring - depends on what type of fishing you want to do. You might have more luck getting a reply on another Belize forum, there is lots of Belize mainland fishing info posted there.
