My husband has been reading your trip reports, and he wants to know who you went fishing with, and how to get in touch with them. He'd also like to know where you fished (beyond reef? near reef? north? south?) and where you had your beach bar-b-q

Went fishing with Jerry Ack and Roque Caliz. You can find them at the Sol Caribe dock (a smaller outfit than the big ones you're used to hearing about on this board). You can reach Jerry at 501-26-3105. The good folks at Seven Seas put me in touch with these fellows.

Jerry took us north of the cut. We trolled all the way up towards Basil Jones. We had our beach bbq at Basil Jones. (bugs were bad way up here)

We fished on the inside of the reef, sometimes right next to it. We caught the barracuda while trolling. Caught snapper and grouper bottom fishing. Jerry took me snorkeling with him when he speared the lobsters.

Jerry proudly claims that no one EVER leaves his bbq hungry (we did not eat dinner that day!) GOOD LUCK!
