I've been searching for days and the lowerst fare I've found round trip from New York is on Continental for $487.60 tax included. This is for October. Is this a good deal? or should I keep looking? Any suggestions?

Yes, this is a good deal. I have seen a few that were $10-$20 less, but IMHO book it. I spent over $800rt each last time.
