You may not have noticed them
on the grocery shelf but that
staple of Belizean life, Marie
Sharp's pepper sauce, now comes
in some amazing new varieties.
While Sharp's traditional habanero
blends are mixed with a carrot
base, the new concoction utilises
orange and grapefruit pulp. The result, if you can
imagine, is even more unique than before. Another
improvement to the product line involves the sale of
the familiar red and green sauces in tiny new bottles.
They are handy to carry for emergency use as well as
distribute as gifts, at home or abroad.

Does anyone know of any place in the Houston area that sells the stuff? The only place i have yet to look is the Specs warehouse downtown.

I just returned from Belize yesterday. I stopped by a grocery store on the way to the airport and bought many kinds of Marie Sharps sauces. There's at least 3 "hot" sauces, a mild hot sauce, and something called the "Exotic Sauce". The later I think is the one I think you mention that is fruit based. They all look wonderful. Now I have to experiment to create my Belize Fushion cooking!

I did buy a couple bottles myself recently. I find I am putting it on lots of stuff: eggs, tortillas with cheese. It is good stuff!
