seabrook is just south of laporte on galveston bay and about 30 miles north of galveston on highway 146. the closest well know city would be clear lake. bring a blanket and enjoy lots of good blues music. good food and beer as well. carnival rides for the kiddos and local craft artists displaying their goods. hope you can make it.

Wow... I should check this board more often....

I live basically right across the street from there.... what I didn't see live, I listened to from my front porch. This year was kinda amazing.... it waited until Sunday before it rained. Most years, it's the Seabrook Mud Festival.

yes i do remember last year (& alot of other wet ones) - ankle deep in some places. it makes it easier to slide down the hill that way.
