Has anybody heard about damage to Singing Sands? We want to book there for early next year and were wondering how they came through the storm.

Singing Sands was damaged by Iris. I know some of their cabanas were moved around and the pool was destroyed. Not sure what the status is now, though.

They should be up and operating again by Jan-Feb. Email and they will reply. Pool will be rebuilt and they have a few rooms ready now and the restasurant floor is now flat (again).

Laurie, they may be going to Dangriga periodically to retrieve email. Think that's what other resorts on the peninsula are doing since land lines are not up yet.
