Stuck up here in the un-tropical NorthEast, and always remembering the great fresh tropical fruits found in the best Latin American country, you can imagine how shocked/pleased/excited I was to find fresh Belizean Papaya in my local supermarket. This is the first time ever that I have seen Belizean goods this far north (not counting the Belikins brought by a friend). Brooks Tropicals, whom I believe are marketing thru Corozal and Miami are offering "Caribbean Sunrise Papaya". Yummmyyyyyyyyyy --- watch for them in your super as well. Almost as good as being there.
All we need now is a little conch.
