Build the bridge so I can walk on over if I please. Someone said something about a firetruck not getting over it? Ummmm, how does the firetruck get there now? It doesnt!lol. I say that if you can cut down the gas and oil usage you would be saving the earth by lesser polution in the water and a lower ammount of gas usage for the island! I would think many more tourists would visit that end of the island more frequently causing a sudden increase in business for those bars and such! For those who have developed the boat ride a tradition, well.........I am sure a local would be happy to do so for you for a small fee!

Most of the time it doesn't matter whether the fire truck reaches the fire or not.
